When speaking to any person online ensure you have all of their information and you have physically seen the individual on Facetime or webcam to ensure the person you are speaking to online is infact the same person they are portraying to be.
Scammers will often build a relationship online over a period of weeks sometimes even months to pull their “targets” in and eventually will ask for money for things such as medical bills/legal fees which will be requested to be transferred via wire transfer or cryptocurrency so there is no trace of who the money is going to.
